This Eerie Graveyard Is Not For What You Would Expect...What Has Been Left Here May Surprise You

Have you ever been in a traffic jam that felt like it was going to last forever? Well, in Chatillon, Belgium, there is a forest littered with cars that looks like just that. 

In reality, there was not a 70-year-long traffic jam. The abandoned cars are leftover from when US soldiers were stationed in the area, but it makes for an apocalyptic scene.

When World War II ended, the US army could not afford to ship the cars back home, so the cars were left behind.

Today, there is only one "car graveyard" left in Chatillon. However, there used to be about four. Over the years, people have become aware of their existence and began to take the cars from their original locations.
